Amazon plans to invest ~$13B in Australia from 2025 to 2029 to develop its data center infrastructure, as demand for cloud computing and AI grows in the country  —  The investment, in the Sydney and Melbourne data centers, is the biggest ever in Australia by a global technology company, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said.
