India’s aviation regulator has penalized Air India for repeated breaches of crew safety regulations. Following a post-transition audit, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) discovered violations related to flight crew scheduling, duty times, and rest periods. Consequently, three senior officials from Air India’s scheduling department have been removed.
