Air India plane crash: Black box data downloaded, may disclose sequence of events that led to deadly accident

The government confirmed that data from the front black box of the Air India crash was successfully retrieved on June 25, 2025, at the AAIB lab. Both black boxes—Cockpit Voice Recorder and Flight Data Recorder—were recovered from the crash site between June 13 and 16, secured under police protection, and flown to Delhi on June 24 for analysis to aid the ongoing investigation.
