A dangerous concrete block placed carelessly in the middle of Kalmeshwar–Katol Road has turned the area into a serious risk for drivers. The road is already poorly lit, and this block made it even more unsafe especially at night.
According to a media report, on the night of June 24, a car crashed into the concrete block. The front of the car was badly damaged, showing how risky the situation is. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, but the accident could have been worse.
People living nearby and regular commuters are angry and have blamed the contractor for being careless. They are asking the authorities to remove the block immediately and take strict action against the contractor. They have also requested proper lighting and safety measures on the road to avoid such incidents in the future.
So far, no statement has been made by the contractor or the concerned officials.
