Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Teased, To Be Equipped With Level 2 ADAS
Mahindra shared a teaser regarding the Scorpio N facelift. The SUV will get Level 2 ADAS and various other features. However, we do not expect any mechanical changes to the engines.
Mahindra shared a teaser on its social media pages saying, “Power plays and stays on course”. This hint may indicate the lane keep assist system. Additionally, the brand will also add other features of Level 2 ADAS.
Expected Features
The new features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, autonomous braking, forward collision warning and much more. However, we expect that the facelifted Scorpio N will not have a panoramic sunroof. This seems to be a glaring omission, as many of its competitors offer the feature, adding to a premium experience for the occupants.
One of the major feature additions may include rear seat ventilation for the 6-seater variants. These features will be available on a new top-spec trim. The changes will be like the updated XUV700.
Engines
Mahindra will not make any changes to the engines. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing a maximum of 200 HP and 370 NM of torque will continue to power the Scorpio N. There is also the option of the 2.2-litre diesel engine, which produces 132 HP to 172.5 HP and 300 NM to 370 NM of torque.
The engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Notably, the top-spec diesel variants in AWD configuration as well.
