In Jogulamba Gadwal, police arrested eight individuals, including a newly-wed woman and her lover, for the murder of land surveyor Ganta Tejeshwar. V Tirumala Rao, the lover, and Aishwarya, the wife, orchestrated the crime, hiring contract killers with promises of cash. The gang murdered Tejeshwar on June 17, dumping his body in a canal after befriending him under false pretenses.
